Why pdf2kit

Make a PDF from screenshots without uploading them

Screenshots often show private things: a chat, a bank page, an ID, or a bug on your screen. They should not sit on someone else's server. pdf2kit builds the PDF on your own device, and nothing is uploaded. It is free, with no account and no watermark on the result.

FAQ

Screenshot to PDF: Common questions

How do I take a screenshot?

On Windows, press Windows + Shift + S and pick the area. It goes to the clipboard. On a Mac, press Shift + Cmd + 4 to save a file, or add Ctrl to copy it instead. On iPhone, press the side button and volume up together. On Android, press power and volume down together.

Can I put several screenshots in one PDF?

Yes. Paste or add as many as you like. Each screenshot becomes its own page, and you drag them into the order you want.

Can pdf2kit capture the screen for me?

On a computer, take the shot with your system, then paste it here with Ctrl+V. That is faster and lets you grab the exact area. On a phone, take a screenshot the normal way, then add it.

Paste is not working. What can I do?

Some browsers block reading the clipboard. Press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) instead of the button, or click Add files and pick the screenshot image.

Are my screenshots uploaded?

No. The whole PDF is built in the page on your device. Your screenshots are never sent to a server.
